Mine The Gap

A research project inspired by Marco Armiero’s Wasteocene, which explores the relationship between waste and marginal places. The research maps a number of local businesses and artisans — Azienda Agricola Campisi, Mandorle Loman, Onda Blu, and Musso Marmi — with the aim of understanding how their production cycles are organised and how waste materials can be reimagined and transformed in order to give them new value.
