Admission Requirements

Admission to the three-year academic degree programmes is subject to the possession of a High School Diploma (upper secondary school diploma), in any field of study, as well as an assessment of the student’s profile, which the Academy will carry out based on the applicant’s motivation and aptitude.

A lack of specific preparation in some of the subjects included in the chosen programme of study, which may sometimes be related to the applicant’s previous educational background, will not prevent admission to the programme, provided that good potential is identified.

Language Requirements (for International Students)

International students are required to demonstrate a proven knowledge and command of the language in which the programme will be taught. The level required for non-native speakers corresponds to an intermediate level (full B1 according to the CEFR – Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

If the applicant does not hold any language proficiency certificate, it will still be possible to take a language test at The Academy of English in Syracuse, a Cambridge Authorized Exam Centre and MADE partner.

Admission

If you decide to enrol in the MADE Programme, we will spend three years of intensive work together, so it is essential to understand whether this is the right path for you.

No multiple-choice admission test!

Instead, we ask you to send us, by email at orientamento@madeprogram.it:

1. a motivation letter explaining the reasons why you wish to undertake this programme;
2. a portfolio. If you do not have a formal portfolio, don’t worry: you can send us a video made with your mobile phone, a series of photographs you took during a trip, or any other work that, in your opinion, fully represents who you are.

The admission application includes a list of the other documents you will need to submit — also to orientamento@madeprogram.it — together with your motivation letter and portfolio.

Everyone who contacts us will be invited to an admission interview (at our premises or via Skype if you live far away). This will give us the opportunity to get to know each other better and answer any questions you may have.

If you are interested, we recommend that you consider attending our Open Days, our Summer School, or one of the initiatives that the Academy regularly organises. These events are completely free of charge and are the best opportunity to understand how we work and to find out whether this is truly what you want to do.

Enrolment

Once you have completed the interview, if you decide that the MADE Programme is the right choice for you, you will need to complete the enrolment process by sending the enrolment application, together with the documents required therein, to orientamento@madeprogram.it.

Please note that the programmes have a limited number of places, and successfully completing the admission interview does not automatically guarantee enrolment, which is subject to the availability of places.

The start of the programmes is subject to reaching the minimum number of students required to ensure an effective delivery of the courses.

Tuition Fees

MADE Program was also established with the aim of making high-level, internationally oriented educational programmes accessible to a wide range of people, including those living in areas that are often overlooked by major providers in the education sector. This means tuition fees that are 40% to 50% lower than those of many private academies in Italy, as well as scholarships for talented students facing financial difficulties.

For enrolment in the first year of the programme, European students are charged tuition fees based on their income bracket (as shown in the table below), which must be documented by submitting an ISEE certificate.

Thanks to the generosity of its Partners, the Academy is able to offer 20 scholarships to talented students, covering up to 50% of the tuition fee.

We have a very concrete way of showing our top-performing students that we want to work with them:

• if you obtained a final high school grade between 90 and 99: you are entitled to a 25% discount on tuition fees
• if you obtained a final high school grade of 100: you are entitled to a 33% discount on tuition fees
• if you obtained a final high school grade of 100 cum laude: you are entitled to a 45% discount on tuition fees
